Yeah, I’m not even a LotR fan, but LotRO was great (and maybe still is, I’ve been off the MMO train for years now). It was good enough that WoW lifted some features from it, e.g. earning talents by completing feats in LotRO became achievements in WoW.

I admit I haven’t played in a few years after my friends stopped playing, so I thought the screenshot looked off but couldn’t quite say why.

Agreed. LOTRO absolutely does the IP justice. More than any other game. It’s probably the truest and most faithful representation of the books we will ever see.

And a grossly outdated screenshot at that. (That’s the old skill bar layout.)

Well that was a largely disappointing article.

Who shit in your cereal?   That’s a good color, god forbid someone gets a car in anything besides black/grey/white or a mix of all of those.

Modern RROD.  Microsoft can’t put out a reliable piece of hardware.

Quit buying elite controllers. Microsoft is making waaay too much money off of you to change anything. They know you’ll just buy a new one every 6 months (because Xbox Stans are easy to take advantage of)

I agree. Microsoft’s controllers have pretty shitty lifespans, even if you aren’t a brutal person on them. If anything THIS needs to be pointed out.

Hate to burst your bubble Jason but its already in Europe for past 1 year..

As someone who commutes into NYC (not Manhattan though) from Long Island, I completely agree. People from the suburbs ARE the exact demographic the tax is targeting.

Wow looks like atfsgeoff hates job creation

And whatever revenue they do pass on for transit improvements, a good chunk of that will also be eaten up by administrative costs.

Prediction: The congestion charge will only just barely pay for the administration and collection of the congestion charge.

Epic. Steam. Battle.net. Origin. Those other ones. There are too many PC game launchers. It’s a problem, and Corsair has the solution. The Corsair Game Launcher Launcher launches all of your game launchers.

Newegg has a pretty good one this year. Since it seems gaming themed, figure it works here.

Yes, “I used to work at a restaurant and know people who always tried to scam free food” obviously means that everyone is lying about things like this, and it’s some conspiracy because fast food workers NEVER mess things up.

Spend 20 minutes on the phone to refund your credit card the $1.50 or whatever it costs?
