I'm sorry, but there's no need for you to be rude, I actually thought it was 29,99, as I bought it with the bundle. The game is perfectly playable without a GC controller, however there aren't any wired controllers for the Wii U. That's the appeal of a GC controller, less latency.

I don't know where you got that information from. Nintendo has had limited edition things before, like 3DS XL charging cradles that you could only get from Club Nintendo for a few hours.
