I didn’t watch, but she was ranked third by the A.V. Club. Seems most agree with her being a good host for the show.

He should have been removed as host for how he got the gig. Nobody legitimately cares about something he said on a podcast 7 years ago (most of which I’m assuming were jokes or taken out of context, but maybe not).
As for Bialik, I don’t care if the Jeopardy agrees with all of my views or not, she’s there to host a…
If this happened to anyone else complaining about what he said, they would be pissed. Nobody is perfect and we have all said shitty things, but most of us aren’t famous, or it wasn’t recorded.
By all accounts (that I’ve read), he was successful in his EP role, especially in helping steer the ship through Trebek’s illness and death. I think this new information disqualifies him from an on-screen role, but that’s as far as I’m willing to go.
Let the story die already, jesus. Nobody cares about Mike Richards. They were just pissed because Levar Burton didn’t win the spot. I guarantee most of those who are now feigning outrage don’t watch the fucking show to begin with.
Unpopular opinion maybe, but is being sleazy in a podcast 7+ years ago really worthy of cancelling this guy from all employment opportunities?
Odd line for a series with Space Nazis.
So Disney had made the “s-word” a hot button issue.
I think people overestimate just how connected the decision makers at Twitch are to the community at large. From everything I’ve heard, the Amazon purchase created a real disconnect.
So there’s a rule on these sites that if you’re arrested for rape, you’re banned? I really hope that’s the case, but I gotta tell you, didn’t think they cared so much.
What exactly are we supposed to be outraged about here? Did I miss the part where you point to Twitch being alerted to this arrest? Or do you expect Twitch have their tentacles in every police station in the world so as to be instantly informed when one of their streamers has been arrested?
This was my thought too. It was a technicality not to ban him immediately, the man is in jail / prison and unable to stream so it’s not like he was going to be streaming while in prison. I can easily see this just as internal bureaucracy at twitch resulting in the slow response.
So if you’re single and a married person hits on you, it’s totally fine to have an affair because you’re not married?
I completely stand by the marginalized and victims of harassment and hate speech / hate raids. But I’m having a hard time figuring out how this stuff could be addressed. People will always be assholes. The Twitch community has cultivated such a thick air of toxicity that I have no idea how it could be reversed. If…
I mean, a lot of that sounds bad.. except the salary. $50,000 is 25% more than my wife makes working full time, outside, in a career field that required a 4 year degree. And she’s currently working at a place that is actually one of the higher paying for her field. She could absolutely not afford to live on her own.
Yes…
Yeah, the worst department at the worst developer is bound to be a hellhole.
How much did this article cost her team?
Agreed. ~$170-200 for 1TB is going to be a hard sell for most people, when you're considering a $500 console. (Or more if you paid scalper prices)
Most people arent going to buy these drives period. Your average consumer will not be interested in either expansion options from Microsoft or Sony.
Honestly, mountain out of a molehill.
