I think they should have ended the movie with Cooper falling into the black hole. Maybe flash on Anne Hathaway on the planet and Murph changing the equation, but leave the ending ambiguous. The stuff with Matt Damon was the climax. We follow that by falling into a black hole and going… behind Murph's bookshelf?

I could go with "Everybody's Got Something to Hide Except Me and My Monkey" as ONE of the best Beatles songs. It's like a Hard Day's Night era song but informed by the White Album, Maharishi-bashing Beatles.

This was the worst episode. The story with the reporters is awful. The parts with Nolte were predictable once you saw where they were going with it. And stuff keeps happening purely for drama in a TV show that wouldn't happen that way in real life. Why would you tell your husband you know he's cheating right before

Albatross sounds a lot like "The Sun King" from Abbey Road.

I don't think that "Loser" is a misleading opener for Mellow Gold. You can hear the guy in "Loser" as the same guy singing about the truck driving neighbor downstairs or getting his boogie on in "Beercan." I actually like Mellow Gold more than Odelay.

As heard on the Rick Emerson Show. He was a big Wing fan, if such a thing is possible.

It just occurred to me that The Three Amigos has the same plot as Galaxy Quest.

They need to quit giving Coulson so much exposition in that dry, monotone voice of his.

I would want "Hello, Hooray" by Alice Cooper for my intro music. For the exit I would use the same song at the, "I feel so strong" part.

I'm not understanding how the leap in logic leads from limiting campaign spending to Lorne Michaels getting arrested. Maybe that's why I'm not a senator.

My grandmother wanted to watch Brokeback Mountain on pay-per-view, so I ended up watching it with my grandparents. It was extremely awkward when they first "get together" in the tent. Otherwise, it went ok. My grandfather said they could have done the same movie with a straight couple, and I can see that.

"Evil" was definitely good. I like "The Lighthouse" and "Pioneer to the Falls." And definitely the line, "It's up to me now, turn on the bright lights."

Interpol - the music's great but the lyrics not so much. See songs like "Rest My Chemistry" or "The Heinrich Maneuver." Or song titles like "There's No I in Threesome" or "Stella Was a Diver and She Was Always Down" for crissakes. Wish the words lived up to the music.

In History we did a lesson about the atomic scare and watched Atomic Cafe. Our teacher then decided that Mad Mad: Beyond Thunderdome was appropriate because it was about a post-nuclear apocalypse society adapting to a new way of living. Or something.
