I’m not sure you know what the word “scam” means.

I don’t think anybody ever claimed that getting vaccinated would mean you couldn’t catch or spread COVID, just that it reduced the likelihood dramatically, which is still true. I don’t think any experts have ever said straight up that cloth masks don’t work, just that they’re not as effective as N95's, which is still

Suddenly I’m overwhelmed by the idea of an “Indiana Jones” adventure parody but with digital history.

“That game belongs in a publicly available digital collection!”

Let’s all say it together, folks:

From the softball questions to the bizarre YT videos to the contempt from the ubisoft exec, this is truly dystopian levels of coverage, im almost impressed

Speaking as a feeeemale who likes feeeeemales I appreciate a variety of body types. I’m so tired of all you gamer boys thinking there is one canonical “hot woman” type and forcing everything into that single standard.

It’s both - people like Wordle because of the social aspects, the results sharing, etc, but they don’t dislike it over monetization or other “mobile game mechanics”. If it updated to include ads or leaderboards or a “you can pay us to get more puzzles” I’d probably just stop playing, even if the core game was as fun

Nintendo is also one of these fan hostile companies that make a point to hunt down fans doing what fans usually do.   Many companies work under the same legal system and don’t feel the need to hunt down fans for creating fanart.  For some reason it works for other companies, so why Nintendo have to be this agresive

I mean...Red vs Blue comes to mind

Equally weird to me that despite this Nintendo is the only company to go to these lengths when many others, from Microsoft on down, don’t just avoid such punitive actions but sometimes even work WITH the modders and creators responsible.

This is sort of “anyone who disagrees with me is part of the conspiracy” bullshit is the sort of idiocy that gave us an entire political party overtaken by QAnon dipshits.

‘NFTs are just beanie babies for people who get mad whenever there are black people in Star Wars movies’.

Even a car without an engine has value. It’s more like if one day you woke up and it just didn’t exist anymore.

The case fatality rate is the percentage of people who die if they are infected. What you said would be correct if all 331M people in the USA were infected, but a majority managed to avoid infection.

Your claim is that in naming his app “Wordle - The App”, he is not trying to ride off the SEO of a popular game named Wordle, but rather a lot of other similar games that are not named Wordle?

You aren’t very good at that “well actually” thing.

You could have played it on your phone’s browser you giant ass.

The problem with that logic is that these obscenely long game lengths often come at the cost of interesting and unique content as the games are designed around generic, procedurally-generated sidequests. Everything from the gameplay mechanics and progression systems to the world map itself has to be tailored around
