FarCry 3 and 5 really annoyed me with how player agency was handled (never got around to 4, but not sure it has the same problem.)

Deleted scenes are often unfinished and rough cuts even when they’re not part of animated features...

That has nothing to do with what I posted, so not sure why you’re responding to me.

Have you compared Gally to some other female characters? I think the wide eye thing is more along a male/female divide than a conscious effort to make Gally have different eyes from everyone else.

Battle Angel Alita was the first manga I ever read, and Cameron always seemed to express a lot of interest in the series, given how long he’s been trying to produce it.

What a weird thing to be so angry about.

I don’t see the problem in viewing them both as viable options. I spent a year abroad in a small apartment and wouldn’t have been able to take my full size, 25lb desktop with me. I had a decent gaming oriented laptop instead, and I just bought a monitor to connect to it (because it’s not hard to find a use for two

Guessing the overlap is pretty minimal, thankfully, if the previews are any indication.

Could have both at the same time. There’s a Miles-centric animated movie coming out that has Peter in a mentor role as an established Spider-Man without necessarily killing him off.

He’s such a likeable guy, even though you know where things are going.to eventually end up.

The concern is Trump being able to keep his story straight. Which is far easier to do in writing than it is for him to do in person, because he operates in a constant field of lies. They’re worried about perjury.

Sony hasn’t sold computers since they sold their VAIO brand in 2014. I don’t know what kind of marketshare they had in the PC space, but I doubt it was an especially large portion of the pie.

Not really. Though each part of the phrase was a previous revision (Accent Core -> Accent Core Plus -> Accent Core Plus R.) Some revisions update the story, but often a revision is mostly just balancing and gameplay updates.

I don’t hate the book, but to me it falls straight into the category of books so bad it merits discussion. There’s nothing wrong with relying heavily on existing media to create your own work, but for it to be any good it needs to do something interesting with that media, and Cline doesn’t.

I’ve been listening to a podcast on the book by two of the RiffTrax guys, and they did some simple math on just the absurd amount of time it’d take Wade to have seen Family Ties as many times as he claims to have done.

I suppose it could be argued that Ernest Cline knows what he’s doing; dropping a bunch of references (often by name, frequently in just straight up lists) as a way to conjure up nostalgia for those things while offering little insight or even really the appearance of genuine interest in the topics he references.

Nope, only the 15" models do. The 13" ones all use Intel graphics (640 or 650 depending on price, which is still above what’s in this thing, but not a discrete card either way.)

It is lazy though. How much of your childhood do you think people are going to care about 50 years later? One guy creates a contest centered around his childhood memories and the entire world pretty much stops developing its own culture to become completely enraptured by cult-classic 80s and 90s movies, music, and

That’d probably put a damper in it. The Pi itself wouldn’t be the hangup at least.

It could, though given the project is only using a 2.7" screen, running a full OS on a Lego you’ll likely keep detached from input most of the time is probably overkill.
