Interestingly enough, it’s the only laptop model they even sell with a discrete video card. Every model below the $2500 MacBook Pro just includes integrated graphics.

Who exactly was outraged over this game? It didn’t warrant the concern. There’s no counter-movement trying to keep the game blocked from Western retailers. Only people buying into the idea that someone else is trying to keep this out of their hands.

Perhaps in another context this would be true, but I’m willing to bet there’s some decent overlap between the crowd that cries censorship whenever something sexy gets changed and the crowd that gets bothered by “SJW” content in video games.

The real problem with the listing is less the high price so much as it is the fact that it’s a collector’s item, not a copy meant to be played. Odds are if you’re lamenting having sold your childhood copy off, you long ago took it out of the original package.

They were planning on localizing it for a Western release I think. Double Peace came out in August last year.

Alchemist was their publisher for both games.

I’ve had a hard time liking the new MacBook, even conceptually. I’ve never really been in the demographic that needed the absolutely thinnest laptop out there, but at least the more recent MacBook Airs didn’t compromise processor power or battery life to get there.

Yeah, I only happened to know because I bothered to look it up earlier to argue with someone else about Windows 10 versions.

It has nothing to do with not wanting to hear it, it’s just silly how the only motivation people seem ready to offer is the possibility that she’s the least shitty candidate in a field that includes Trump and Cruz. I don’t have to be told how awful they are, that’s readily apparent.

I just wish Hillary supporters were as interested in talking about what they like in their preferred candidate as they are shaming Sanders supporters into voting for her.

Project Diva X just came out today. The figure’s used, but 500 yen was pretty cheap. The lowest ones are like 2500 yen new, and they often only go up in price once they stop making more.

They’re definitely fun. If you’ve got a Vita or Playstation TV and can manage to either import it or pay for it over Japanese PSN, you might like IA/VT Colorful too. Not too far removed from how Mirai works I think.

Other than being very small (and compromising keyboard quality, processor options, and battery life to get there), what does the new MacBook do best exactly?

And the article still is. You can take issue with the tone, but the article’s central premise is still objectively true.

I don’t live close enough to a Yamada Denki to shop there. Did visit the one in Akihabara while I was in Tokyo though. The nearest GEO is less than a block from me, so online isn’t much more convenient for me.

The nice thing about liking Miku in particular is how popular she is. Japanese media in general goes through really fast cycles, so a lot of the anime and games I was familiar with have long since left Japanese shelves. Miku’s been pretty easy to find stuff though.

There’s so much Miku stuff here. I’ve built a new t-shirt collection just from Miku shirts alone.

I got a copy from walking across the street to the local GEO. I’ve definitely been enjoying studying abroad.
