The sad thing is the MacBook seems poised to replace the MacBook Air. I wasn’t thrilled with the first gen Air, but the current models fit a solid niche. The new MacBook trades processing power, battery life, and I/O for a smaller form factor, AND currently costs more than the Air.

The big divide now is really how few Macs even have discrete video cards. Only one model MacBook Pro does, and it starts at $2499. iMacs do better, but no discrete card till $1799. And then there’s the Mac Pro, but that’s $2999 minimum.

Fairly sure the only thing they sell with USB-C are new MacBooks. With a Core M processor and only a single USB-C (which doubles as the power plug) an external video card still wouldn’t make it suited for gaming.

If it were aimed at women, it would be different. I haven’t seen Magic Mike, but I’m under the reasonable impression that none of the men in that look anything like the men of Dragon’s Crown. Channing Tatum to my knowledge is not 3-4 feet wide with a massive bulging neck and a disproportionately small head.

Possibly no-one, but I suspect it’s at least one person’s fetish fuel.

Sorry I don’t agree with your premise. You don’t have to dismissive just because we don’t think the same way.

No, it’s pretty clear Dragon’s Crown is meant to appeal to a particular crowd. It’s definitely not a general aesthetic meant to please everybody.

That’s not really what the argument is though. It’s not a restriction he’s talking about, but a developer incentive. Effectively, the idea is that being able to develop for both PC and XBox simultaneously will lead developers to only build for UWP and not Win32. They’re in no way required to do that, it might just

Her models shared by a few characters in game. Both her and Ysera have leggings/pants underneath the thong thingy. Alexstraza though has the pants-less version.

It’s not because they’re men, but who the audience is intended to be. A good counter example would be yaoi. It’s porn about gay men. Written very explicitly for straight women.

It’s not a monopoly really, but the basic idea is that streamlining development for XBox and Windows is so strong an incentive, developers would opt to release in UWP over Win32.

Windows 10 is fine. No one uses the Windows store now and aren’t likely to gravitate towards it either way, and people have turned down Microsoft exclusives in the past when the arbitrary barriers to playing them were higher than users were willing to bear.

It’s their gamble. I’ll avoid a game on PC if they build enough barriers around it. The game is already a gamble with trying to bring back FMV heavy gameplay, but they’re also betting on a PC heavy strategy for their XBox division, and if they make games on the Windows store inconvenient enough, it won’t take off.

And both of them were heavily maligned for it. At least Diablo 3 is actually doing server-side calculations. Quantum Break is just going to be streaming me video. That’s not a better reason in the slightest.

I hate this notion of “pragmatism” in regard to Hillary. What you’re saying is your candidate of choice is running on a campaign of “No We Can’t.”

On my decidedly not 4k screen? I rather doubt it. But hey, I get to stream excessively large videos I can’t output at their native resolution every time I play a single player game.

Because it’s a solution to a problem they created. It’d be trivial to allow the user to select video playback size (I don’t have anything that can play at 4k anyway) and instead of streaming it, download it permanently to a hard drive.

Why? Because the string of posts marks the third time you’ve said anything on your recently created burner.

She’s not my personal pick, but seriously dude, you can’t think of anything about Trump you’d like to go out on a limb and defend?

I like how you’re still arguing like Obama is in the race or something.
