Yeah, the cult’s gonna “deny the obvious”, but it’s just a terrible, misleading, disingenuous name. I’m surprised the FTC hasn’t stepped in by now.
all cars are actually shit anyway.
To each their own... Thankfully, “I know what I know and I’ll sing what I’ve said.”
Have you seeeeeeen the world’s greatest car, my Lancer GTS?
Thats awesome! Mine had traction/trace control which I thought was pretty impressive for a 1992 economy car. Being in NZ we get a lot of the JDM goodies but it was still a rare car, I’ve only seen one in the past 3 years since I got rid of it
Thank you!! I had a mirage6 with the same engine in it. Revvy little beast
Somebody better tell him cloaking devices vere banned by the Treaty of Algeron.
Not the American market. The Jdm market cares waaaaaaaay more about handling and a nice power band, than absolute power - it’s (Part of) why so many Japanese cars are turbo. For what it’s worth most markets that aren’t USDM tend to feel the same.
That Man Utd deal was hubris and brought God’s righteous wrath down on Chevrolet Yurp.
Which car should we save?
Come on, really? Not the period look? Not the film score? Not the Nazi invasion film? The Rocketeer’s costume design/execution? “I may not have earned an honest buck in my life, but I’m 100% American”?
Next time: A mostly unknown ’80s comic, created as an homage to the movie serials of the ’30s, becomes a shockingly great adventure movie in The Rocketeer.
The joke’s getting very old, but this might be time to dust off Sniff Petrol’s old line of business forms.
Any pictures of the whole car? Why are they all zoomed in like they are trying to hide something?
(And this is coming from a Chevy fan)
Don’t be a pajero.
The Allanté is also notable for having what was once described as the “world’s longest assembly line” as the Pininfarina-built bodies were flown 4,600 miles from Turin to Detroit for final assembly, 56 at a time in a specially outfitted 747.
So which was the bigger “fanbase betrayal?”
