It means they're ready to pop, lock, and drop it.

You’re no fun at all. I’m working with the assumption that you can’t selectively arm up your ships only when passing through the bad neighborhoods because... um... that would be RACIST.
I figured I’d do some math anyway just because I’m at work and bored. See my other post below.
I honestly don’t know how MANY ransoms get paid per year (or how many crew members end up lost to the pirates) but good security contractors make somewhere around 200k/year. Your model of sniping people in moving boats on open water suggests you intend to hire VERY good security contractors, so let’s stick with that.…
Your imported goods just got a LOT more expensive when you started paying to put a minimum of 12 highly trained mercenaries on every cargo ship in the ocean.
I DARE it not to be tender after 48 hours at 125F.
So maybe a better title would be "trying to uncrack the secrets" since the article only told me that we still have no idea how this works.
Can we just replace the comments section with two buttons, one for “hey, I like the same things you like” and another for “stop liking things that I don’t like” and save us all a lot of time?
I love the idea of it but I’m used to my cold brew being a LOT stronger than it ever gets in this thing. I tried leaving it in the fridge brewing over the weekend at work and it was still too light. Not sure if it’s not enough space for coffee in the little filter or bad contact or what, but I gave up on it and went…

Obviously the images have to be thoroughly audited to ensure that no extraterrestrial life or nazi outposts are visible before they're released for public consumption.
Can we make sure everyone in ISIS sees this video like right now, so they’ll stop all the senseless killing?
I think any garage door smart enough to connect to a rPi also has an automatic door close function that shuts the door a few minutes after opening if there’s nothing blocking the door sensor.
This is why literally everyone I know has them. It’s honestly kind of a pain in the ass, we need to write our names on our beach chairs to sort them out at the end of the day.

Enjoy keeping your IRQs sorted out in the config.sys with a Sound Blaster AND a bespoke McLaren comms board installed.
Volvo is approaching this from the “if you can’t do it right, don’t do it at all” philosophy, while Tesla is approaching it from the “hey guys, check this out!” philosophy.
Your con is also a pro depending on what you’re doing... when I’m entertaining I can have meat or chicken for 10-12 people cooking well in advance of guests arriving and have it held at final temperature until serving time, then a quick sear on the grill/stove/torch right before serving. I now spend ZERO time fussing…

Do 727s not containerize baggage and cargo? I thought some passenger aircraft loaded their cargo areas with relatively solid close-packed containers, which would presumably behave differently than a loose pile of luggage in an impact.
I was more surprised that they didn’t fly the craft with the cargo hold loaded, to simulate actual crash weight and any effects that the contents would have on the structure during impact (like the analyst said, any cargo would have been pushed up into the floor - would that have compromised the passenger compartment?)
This would have been a perfect opportunity to run a few drones into the engine intakes while they were still running to see what happens!
