Lower tire pressure creates a LARGER contact patch, not necessarily wider. This is a pretty basic statics problem. If you've got a 5000-lbs vehicle and 4 tires to hold it up, at 30 pounds per square inch each tire has to have ~42 square inches of contact patch.

That's not really a Corvette-specific problem. If you drive on track tires in the rain, you're gonna have a bad time. If you buy the most track-oriented package for many performance cars, you get track tires.

No, it's 700 pounds heavier at 300 mph. Really hard on the brakes.

I'm pretty sure the "subtle and tasteful" contingent is sent out for coffee during all Corvette design team meetings.

So if you buy it with the Z07 track package, it comes with track tires.

Not by their manufacturers, as far as I know

Seems like a great time to head to your nearest Tesla battery swap station so you don't have to ever see that battery pack again after a day of abuse on the track.

I'm assuming this only works if you're watching a live broadcast and not time-shifted or recorded. So it's the perfect solution for the gadget-conscious technophobe.

It's a turbine head, powered by the air drawn through it. I've got this exact model, and the brush head has now weakened to the point that it comes to a complete halt on even an industrial-type area rug. Fortunately we have mostly wood floors and I use the brush head only rarely, but if you have any actual carpet in

We've got Electroluxes in our family also. They've got at least their replacement cost put into repair parts over their lifetime, so I see no advantage. I'd rather buy a vacuum that costs 1/4 as much and replace it 8 times than deal with the weeks of downtime those stupid Electroluxes have put us through.

My mother-in-law bought us that exact vacuum. It's even worse than the review makes it sound.

I live in Southern California. Why did I just read this whole article?

So here's the deal... bear with me for a second. Don't buy the top performance model with the biggest engine if you commute long distances.

This would worry me, my Ultimate loses sync with my wifi network and needs to be rebooted at least twice a week, making the app-based features unreliable at best. And the Ultimate base is about 6 feet from my router.

I love mine but dislike the tyvek material... cc slots stretch out immediately and I drop cards all the time. Don't care that it looks frayed after a year, but it looks frayed after a year. I just preordered the new Slimfold Soft Shell which costs twice as much but I hope will be more durable.

My 2004 VW Touareg apparently claims to have "lifetime" transmission fluids that should not be changed. This makes me nervous at nearly 150,000 miles, but at the same time I've read of a few individuals who took it upon themselves to siphon out the transmission fluid and replace it, only to displace debris from the

Aren't all ships sitting ducks in a modern engagement? If it could go 40 knots, it's not going to make it a more difficult target to engage with guided missiles. Nobody's shooting guns at ships over long distances.

On the low end of soundbars I definitely agree with you. My friend just bought a cheap Samsung sound bar to add to his Samsung TV, and it sounded exactly the same except for the added low-quality bass from the wireless sub that came with it. Total waste of money. At the higher end, there is quality to be found, but

Tesla has seen the future of the automobile - and it is INTERNAL COMBUSTION!

It needs to be better than the ZF box and you hope it will be just as good as the ZF box?
