I recently joined the 160 club, too!

Still catching dick.

(edit) Now that I think on it, have had to fend some off.

I got what you are trying to say. It’s like regardless of build no woman is supposed to weigh over 125 which is so arbitrary. People want to weigh 125 or whatever to weigh that amount not because that is what works best for them and their body.

ugh, the “it’s so hard being thin” ppl have showed up.

I’m an office worker too, and I have to say that if I weren’t exercising I’d be incapable of any movement, especially post partum. I still haven’t managed to lose all my baby weight (I have thryoid disease and meds screwed up my metabolism despite breastfeeding for 15 months, that was a kick in the nuts, so to speak

As a guy, I’m totally exasperated at the COMPLETE AND UTTER BULLSHIT numbers that get bounced around for womens weight. I grew up with 5 sisters of various shapes and sizes and I know in a second if a famous person lies about their weight. You hear shit like 110lbs or 115 its almost always bullshit. 110lbs is super

Seconded. A fun woman weighing in at 150+ (Abbi Jacobson) will win out over a boring one at <120 (Zooey Deschanel, Gwenyth) every day of the week. But, there’s not a lot of money to be made telling women they’re fine, don’t worry about it. Those magazines and the beauty products they’re shilling aren’t going to sell

Whenever we need to partner up at CrossFit, the same woman always finds me and we partner. I like her 50% of the time and loathe her the other half. She is OBSESSED with giving her weight, and talking about weight in terms of numbers and just weight in general. “Oh no, I’m not sure I’ll be able to squat 130 lbs

Guy here... I’m not sure why there is this thing that some women think men only like thin, skinny women. I’ve never really found skinny women at all attractive. I think it goes along the same lines as men who think women only want tall, strapping men. My wife and I disprove both of those stereotypes. I’m a 5 ft 7” man

“average” women ARE heavy — much heavier than they have been in decades past. saying guys only like thin blonde girls is your friend’s own fucked-up internalization.

i dont disagree that having confidence about yourself is always best, but it can be hard after internalizing the stuff you see in TV/movies for your whole life

I have NSFW stories aplenty to testify the same.

I know a girl who constantly complains about being single and blames it on being heavier than the average woman or on guys being superficial and only liking thin, blonde girls. I’m not saying there aren’t guys out there that only go for those type of women but I do think that if you own your body and are comfortable

Nice to see Caitlyn treated like any other more mature woman on magazine cover and gets every wrinkle photoshopped the fuck out

Hawaii 5-0 is my go-to example when I hear of white people being cast as Asian with the excuse of “not being able to find an Asian actor”. To which I mentally reply “Did you ask the H50 casting director? They seem to not have any trouble finding Asian actors.”

I agree. People are defending her like it was the higher-ups fault and that she should have no accountability. But how did she not grapple with this form of yellow-face or feel weird/guilty about it? When she was trying to “get into” the character of a half Asian person? She doesn’t speak about what it was like to

Emma Stone is popular, but I don’t know that she’s really enough of a star to be able to turn down roles working with major directors without some consequences. I understand wanting to make a stand, but I also understand wanting to be able to continue to make a living.
For the record, I do find it absolutely ludicrous

Between this and her constantly starring in Woody Allen films my love for her has waned significantly... Which makes me so sad.

Please correct me if I’m blaming the wrong person or if I’m wrong, but- I feel like, if I was an actor, and I was presented with a script and my character was written as non-white and they’re trying to give my lily-white ass the role, then I have a duty to be like “dude no, I can’t in good conscience when there’s
