I’ve actually heard from some people who work in Hollywood that she is one of the most surprisingly not nice people. Which sucks, because I adored her.

Nice people are perfect targets for assholes.

I remember her in The Daily Show promoting this movie. She made sure to tell Stewart that O’Russell’s style of directing involved shouting terrible insults at the actors from behind the camera while running around set.

Unfortunately, some people respond to sweetness and light with a sort of avid viciousness. Full-on Vandemar-and-Croup style of “there’s something nice and pretty, I’d like to completely destroy it.”

Amy Adams is sweetness and light, I can not imagine anyone doing that to her. What a fucking monster.

This is amazing. When I went back to the midwest to work for several months recently, everyone talked in meetings about “we’ll make an ask.” WTF? When did “asking” need two additional words to happen?

I have a very intense dislike for a former supervisor who insisted we all read “Who Moved My Cheese?”

“Break down the silos” is for sure the new “paradigm shift.” I work in the public sector and hear it all the time. Disturbing.
