The GM LS (as sooo many others have mentioned); It's kicked as Vettes from 1997 to 2013, made Ford put blowers on everything, dominated AMLS/Endurance racing using "old" OHV configuration, and has variants and part interchangeability ranging from 4.8 liters up to 7.7 liters.

Maybe it make sense to me because I'm a turbo guy... I think the exhaust/turbine housing design is genius if you're a fluid dynamics junkie. On a "V" configuration I'd imagine the exhaust pulses are more efficiently utilized with a direct path to the exhaust wheel vs a merge. Can't wait to hear these beauties sing.

I'd guess that it tells the ABS to keep the front wheels locked up and not apply rear brakes, thus allowing you to keep your $50 rear pads intact while you roast your $500 tires.

Why the fuck can't GM build a god damn amazing dual clutch option for their performance vehicles? I've owned just about every car GM has made in the last 5 years with an LS something and my MKV with a DSG was a better transmission.
