Maybe it make sense to me because I'm a turbo guy... I think the exhaust/turbine housing design is genius if you're a fluid dynamics junkie. On a "V" configuration I'd imagine the exhaust pulses are more efficiently utilized with a direct path to the exhaust wheel vs a merge. Can't wait to hear these beauties sing.
