The Delorean was body on frame. This will not be, and aside from potentially some ultra high strength non-stainless for the pillars(which most aluminum unibody cars tend to have) the load bearing structure is meant to be stainless according to what has been communicated so far.

Eh, I’d say a structural stainless unibody is innovative. I am not aware of another car that has done that. Considering the real challenges of working thick stainless, I’d call that a bit of innovation.
