I’ll just leave this here.
Came here to say that. I agree. Straight cut gears make no difference whatsoever in the engagement of the gear to output.
There are two versions of the hardware. HW1 has autosteer and emergency braking. Later cars have HW2, which for now have fewer features than the older hardware cars but are getting software updates to bring them to parity and eventually will be capable of full autonomy.
The want is very high with this one, but that price is just silly.
I drove a P90D the other day and it is shockingly quick. I didn’t get a chance to launch it but it builds speed from a roll like no other car I’ve driven. It is scary fast, to the point of being dangerous that non enthusiasts have access to that power so easily.
Kid from Newark here, this sounds accurate.
Also, looking at that torque curve, the stock ECU is likely pulling boost out of the motor at higher RPM. I suspect this will be a very tuner friendly car.
I’ll tell you what, as much as I love all the American fighters and how slick and clean they usually look, that MiG looks downright rugged up close and operating in those conditions.
In NJ there are state and private ones. Frankly even at the state ones all they do is see if you have a CEL and all your lights work, haha
I wouldn’t take to a state inspection center, but you’d be surprised what the individual shops will pass.
The want is very strong with this one. My dad had an ‘88 323 when I was growing up, and I had a ‘95 323 winter beater. Loved those cars. Now I’m very tempted by this local 626 GT HATCH.
Yeah, I agree completely. I think my apprehension comes from the fact that I park my car and motorcycle on the same street, and my motorcycle gets knocked over about once a month, haha
Whoa, getting VERY strong Castle in the Sky vibes off of this.
Oh nice! Yeah I showed that pic to a buddy of mine who has a standard Cayman and he had apparently had a chase session with him one day on the FDR Drive.
Yeah, I’m about that attitude 99% of the time, and more power to this guy, no judgement. But, given the fact that if something happened to this he would have a hard time replacing it because of the limited number/wait list etc. I might spring for the $300/mo parking, haha.
Nah, on the upper west side. There’s a good bit of it here including one very worse for wear C63.
Sure, I get that. And I usually am not a big fan of stripes and stuff on cars, but frankly, on this, with that wing, it comes together to make it one of the more purposeful looking cars I’ve seen in a long time. And everyone, literally everyone who passes by this on the street looks at it, which certainly can’t be…
