I have a used GTI and live and drive in the city, and I love it. Between that and my NA miata, there's nothing better dicing and wringing it out in low to medium traffic in manhattan.

At 9.5/1 and 11.5lbs of boost, they might not be as close as you'd think.

I'd be willing to bet they're bleeding boost on this thing as it sits, since there was the recent claim that it was tested up to 825hp. If it's anything like the supercharged audis, a tune that shuts the boost bleed valve at all times could up the power substantially.
