I stopped being impressed by this car when I realized they were selling a vehicle with this intrusive of a cage. This thing would be a deathtrap even if it weren't stupidly fast. The proximity of the cage to the headrest is insane. To sell that to people for street use without helmets is just negligent.

This seems like an appropriate time to share one of the best Christmas presents I've ever received. Last year my girlfriend at the time found a photo of my 240z, sent it to Mr. K's house in Japan with a very nice note about how much I loved my car and how it has shaped my life (I'm an engineer because of it) with a

Yeah the one that died was the Aussie. The american Brock is still going strong.

I've seen two of these in NYC in the past week. Hadn't seen one before so I took a pic. Look interesting, would like to go for a ride in one.

There might be a big difference in the trans weight, but the LS engines are seriously light. IIRC around 350# fully dressed, which really isn't bad at all.

50 is not amused

I started watching this with a skeptical face, but man. Shit just got real!

Geez, didn't realize that the gen coupe had been upped in power so much this year. 345 is nothing to scoff at.

I didn't realize until now that there are different options for the hood. I like it.

The coupe all day long. I've felt this for every 2 door Jag after the E-type. The XJS looked great with the buttresses, and the XK8 coupe was pure sex from the rear.

I think you mean George H.W. Bush

If you really want to get pedantic, it was both a flat 12 and a V12(albeit a 180 degree V12). What it WASN'T was what it was called...a boxer, because each piston didn't have it's own crank pin.

That's because it's a system aimed for daily practicality, not tourists, and in that capacity it is better than anything in the US. IMO it really isn't all that complicated.

Except that it doesn't really go that many places, doesn't run late at night, and isn't really all that cheap either...

The 911 really did make it through the big bumper era without ruining the shape like other cars.

Man, it may not be the fastest thing it the world, but who cares when you can make that noise everywhere you go. Imagine that thing in a tunnel.

Oh I'm gonna waste a lot of time on this one...

Found myself in this situation the other day. I wrecked my originally red motorcycle and remade all of the plastics in carbon fiber when I rebuilt it. On my first ride back out I got pulled over(for feeding forward at a red light). Because the bike had been out of commission so long, the registration, which was out of

Yeah... This thing almost certainly hasn't run since the turbo conversion. How do they know how much power it makes? Also I'm not terribly impressed by the welds on those intakes.
