I wouldn’t be surprised at this point.

It seems reddit itself has now gone dark, as I am unable to even reach the site.

I installed a third party app and quit using the official reddit app because they kept cramming more and more ads into the feed, and it got to the point where my feed felt like it was half ads. I would have kept using their app if they would have kept the ads at a reasonable level.

That’s true, the scrappers are probably the exception. I remember seeing a guy every morning when I lived in Champlin, he had an old orange truck from the early 70s that was more holes than sheetmetal.

It’s a Jeep thing, you wouldn’t understand.

I live in Minnesota. We have never had safety inspections. We did have emissions testing in the 90s for a while, but they stopped that after the air quality improved and they found that the vehicles still on the road were clean enough that they didn’t need to test anymore. There are some shitty cars on the roads here,

I'm going to try pumpkins in a flowerpot this year, and will just train the vines to go where I want them to. The only reason I'm even growing pumpkins is because my son's teacher thought it would be a good idea to have the kids plant pumpkins instead of something more reasonable like the typical lima bean or flowers

I worked at a place that had a mid-90s F-150. The ignition was so loose that you could pull out the key after starting it, and the key was pretty much worn smooth.

Insurance companies refusing to cover these cars also fucks over innocent people that currently own these cars. I own an affected Hyundai, and now I have to worry about it getting stolen, having my insurance coverage either go sky high or get dropped altogether, and resale value tanking for both of those reasons.

Is this Kia defect going to bleed over into Hyundais like the USB theft thing did?

We run the furnace fan without the AC on as a way to cool the house without having to turn on the AC, especially in the spring and fall when it’s still warm out but not quite warm enough to turn on the air.

Does Windows 11 not have the preview pane in the File Explorer? Windows 10 has that. I use it all the time at work, especially for reviewing PDF copies of invoices instead of having to open each of them.

I feel like they Hyundai software update is going to result in a lot of torn apart interiors. The thieves aren’t going to care about a sticker on the windshield, are going to try to steal the car anyway, destroy the ignition column, and when it doesn’t work, will trash the rest of the interior. If seeing the sticker

When I used to travel for work, one of the first things I would do was grab a state highway map from the rest area or wherever. I never used them to navigate the area I was in, I just kept them as souvenirs of where I had been.

I live in an area with very hard water. I have a water softener, but even with that, I’m replacing coffee makers every couple years. I looked into those magnet systems online, but it seems more like a fuel shark for my water system than a legitimate way of softening water. I have accepted that my water will still be

I feel like a tone like this is edgy and cool but also a good way to turn off beginners that don’t know what they are doing yet.

Doubtful. From the article:

-Pee before we go. I am not stopping for at least two hours. If you didn’t pee, that’s your problem.

I work with spreadsheets all day. Please don’t encourage the robots to take my job.

I’m in that same boat. Mostly stuff for people in the UK and Australia with the same name as me. I assume they had live.co.uk and live.co.au email endings that sometimes forward to live.com instead.
