Sounds great until you are trying to fold a wet windshield cover and put it in your car.

I remember when the aluminum F-150 first came out, they were bragging about military grade aluminum. I read an article (I think here) saying that the claim was meaningless because there are several military specs for aluminum, it all depends on what it's used for.

Are we sure that's not a brand new one?

We have had good luck with Blink cameras so far. They are cloud based with no subscription fees. Only downside is that it only works on your phone and doesn't have a website to view videos on.

I have Blink cameras and have been pretty happy with them so far. They are battery powered, and the batteries lasted me almost a year. The videos save to the cloud with no subscription fees. The company is owned by Amazon but so far I haven’t heard about any concerns about sharing with law enforcement.

One of my doors has a lock that doesn't work quite right, so it will sometimes not lock when I push the lock button, or it won't unlock when I push the unlock button. Sometimes, just for fun it gets stuck halfway and if you try the door handle a few times it will usually unlock. I try to remember to manually lock it,

But when are you going to cover the new Toyota Tacoma? I saw it in the ad box on Lifehacker and now I want to know more!

I prefer the anatomically (mechanically) correct threaded ones. When I bought an old car with a v-8, the keys were on a keychain with two half inch nuts. The guy I bought it from said it was because the car had nuts. This was many years before truck nuts became a real thing.

The ukrainians boarded the boat, looked around and said "are you shitting me!?"

I usually see them on commercial trucks or trailers with one up and one down

Ok

Use your car key instead. Especially works well if you have an older car and the key is worn down a bit, that way it doesn't scratch as much. Grosses my wife out, but it works great. I only use qtips to dry out my ear canal. The keys do the real work.

Same. I dry my ear canals, but don't try to remove any wax
