I make them in the microwave. Scramble eggs, bacon bits, and whatever else i feel like adding together, then microwave for about 1:30, drop onto a tortilla, add cheese, and microwave for another 30-40 seconds. It isn't perfect, but it beats a bowl of cereal or oatmeal for a quick breakfast before work.

I don't know about your situation, but in mine, there is no point in even trying.
The other problem in a lot of government workplaces is that raises are specified in the contract, and, at least the agency I work for, there are no merit raises whatsoever.
