Hey, that's an exaggeration! Lego Batman came out 11 months after Batman v. Superman.

And even on the BvS promotional circuit, he seemed tired of the whole thing. That "Sound of Silence" video and all that.

Just let Will Arnett take over full-time.

I had the same experience. I always figured it would be a Canadian Little House on the Prairie, but my wife insisted that it was charming and funny. Turns out she was right!

I mean, it was weird when Woody Allen did it 40 years ago, maybe. But then everyone since is just following his lead.

McCloud!

Remember that time he got to star in a self-titled sitcom? That was a weird time.

Yeah, Masterpiece Comics lives up to its name 100%. Personally I'm partial to Mephistofield and the Peanuts/Metamorphosis mashup, both of which capture the spirit of both works perfectly.

I was going to post that if no one else had. It's a delightful little movie (and one that definitely wouldn't happen now - Disney has too much invested in Actual Marvel Movies to make something that feels so much like a 70s-era live-action Disney comedy).

Ah. I thought he died more recently than that.

Was Gorilla Monsoon really involved? Please tell me yes.

Thanks! Maybe I'll give it a shot sometime. It's still on Hulu, right?

So it's good, huh? I only ever saw the trailer that came out before the show premiered, and it looked pretty dire (even though I like both of the leads a lot and also enjoy romantic comedy).

Cluster*fun*

I mean, she's 28 years old. So it's not really all that perverted for a middle-aged man to find her attractive at this point.

Oh?

Sure, bring in every former Batman. You know Val Kilmer would all about it!

Freaks & Geeks though!

Very true. James Cagney and Joel McCrea are legitimately great actors.

I've been saying for years that Allison Jones is the best casting director in the business, and this show is another example why. And you didn't even mention Manny Jacinto as Jason or D'Arcy Carden as Janet, both of whom I think are delightful.
