The opening credits make it look like an animated Meet Me in St. Louis, with a similar "family marvels at how fast life is getting in 1904" vibe.

I should go back and watch all of Harvey Birdman. I really liked what I saw, which was maybe 4 or 5 episodes.
There is no Entourage 2!
In 2011, sure, I wanted 6 seasons and a movie. Now, I want 3 seasons and a fond remembrance.
I always figured that Moffat didn't want the baggage of the TV movie. If he'd used McGann, I'm sure a lot of people would have felt like "What's the deal with this Doctor? What am I missing because I didn't watch the old stuff?" That would be true even if Moffat had told all the exact same brand-new Time War secrets.…
Yep! 6 of the 26 affected stories have professional animated recons. There are also fanmade animations, but I've yet to see any very impressive ones.
Great! I look forward to hearing what you think!
Yes, me too. He feels a lot more like a Classic Series Doctor - I think that has something to do with it for me (even though I love the new series and all three of his predecessors.)
Eccleston is my wife's favorite Doctor by far, to the point where she owns all of the 9th Doctor comics and novels (and literally no other Doctor Who comics or novels).
To be fair, Big Finish's stories aren't really audiobooks so much as audio plays - they're complete productions with large casts and sound effects. Most of them don't have any narration. It's closer to a radio drama than a regular audiobook.
97 episodes are currently missing, but here's the good news: the audio for every single episode exists, because nerds recorded them all on reel-to-reel tape back in the 60s.
I would love to see McGann team up with Capaldi or whoever else later, but I actually kind of like that 8 has never actually appeared on the TV show Doctor Who.
It's weird to think that that movie will be dedicated to the memories of Leonard Nimoy and Anton Yelchin.
You don't realize how good Sorkin is at doing that Sorkin thing until you see a bland imitation of it.
Based on how long ago her Nickelodeon sitcom was on, she's gotta be at least 25.
They actually made almost that exact joke in the first episode of the new Muppets TV show. Fozzie talking about his online dating profile:
Seinfeld.
Especially when Dichen Lachman and Amy Acker were both right there.
I've not even a huge fan of his, but he plays a guy mourning his dead wife. That's so much sadder now that he's actually a guy mourning his dead wife.
Oh man, I just realized - that Patton Oswalt episode is gonna be *devastating* now.
