See, my favorite type of Doctor Who is the bonkers, off-the-wall Mind Robber/Carnival of Monsters Doctor Who.

I really hope she's exclusively called "The Master" in this upcoming season.
That's a strange choice. The Skovox Blitzer is a fun design - and has a great action figure out - but the Boneless definitely felt like the Big New Villain of the season. I can imagine them lurking on the wall behind Capaldi on a calendar or something.
Agreed on both counts. Revelation is probably my favorite Paul Cornell novel (although I still haven't read No Future, Goth Opera, or the Shalka novelization), and Exodus really makes me wish Terrance Dicks had come back and done more NAs. It's such a departure for him thematically obviously, but it's fascinating how…
I'm so excited for that Zygon two-parter! I was firmly in the pro-"Kill the Moon" camp, so I can't wait to see what else Harness has up his sleeve.
I'm sure you're right and it is dreadful, but I don't remember a single thing about Apocalypse other than that the general setting includes a harp player, or a lute player, or something like that. It just didn't stick with me at all.
The presence of the Terileptils reminds me of this story:
I only read All-Consuming Fire, but yes - awful. Not quite as bad as Timewyrm: Genesys, but not far off.
That sounds like something only (New Adventures writer) Andy Lane would believe.
I guess so, yeah. Mostly just Rory.
This is a lot of fun, but it threw me a little bit to see Michelle Gomez as the Master filed under 1971.
In our hearts.
A girl in my high school class had a t-shirt inspired by that incident. Didn't happen, huh?
Apparently Francis wears a name tag with that name on it in the pilot. But yeah, it's not a thing on the show.
I think we all assume it will be, at most, 6 episodes.
My wife and I had the same experience. We gave up immediately after the first closeup of Sokka and/or Katara, because we decided it just wasn't worth it.
Well, The Last Airbender probably doesn't have a twist ending, right?
And that was a Sunday, so it had what, 8 panels?
That's probably true. It was so awful.
Oh man, another Captain America solo movie? Sounds awesome. I wish they'd make one.
