America's #2 spaceman!

What if working at a radio station, we worked at a space station? And what if instead of reporting the news, we reported the space news?

They've only made one (2011's Winnie-the-Pooh), which has some fun songs and is very funny, but doesn't aspire to the same level as Frog. It also made about 12 dollars because they opened it against Harry Potter and gave it zero promotion.

John Hurt on the CW!

I always thought Prince Adam looked creepy because his eyes are so far apart. I suppose that's for story reasons - it's his eyes that Belle recognizes as being the Beast, the placement is exactly the same - but it just looks weird and unsettling on that skinny human head.

I feel like it will last 28-35. A full first season followed by a second season pickup because it's gonna find that audience any day now, and then they'll mercy kill it.

Agreed. The character was designed to resemble her!

You can't print that!

But she already approved it!

Thanks for the tip on the Diane Duane series. We have all of them here in the library, but I never bothered with them. Knowing them have two girl protagonists makes me more interested (and more excited to recommend them to students).

Paul MacGann.

Yes! I agree with that, also being a huge fan of Martha Jones.

My wife and I are slowly making our way through Batman Beyond, and we're also in the middle of S2. I like Max and Dana fine - mostly because I like Cree Summer and Lauren Tom - but I agree that the show is best when it focuses on the Terry/Bruce relationship. I don't think it's a coincidence that the best episodes are

I've only seen it the once, but I definitely recall that it has no sense of how time passes. The cops are underground for 3 months and none of them grow beards, Gordon carries his speech about Harvey Dent around in his coat for a week or whoever long it is.

I've mentioned previously that my wife and I have been listening to the audios during long road trips. We heard this one during a particularly snowy, windy drive through western Minnesota with a lot of visibility problems. In that weather, this story was absolutely terrifying.

Benedict Cumberbatch as Snape!
Tom Hardy as Sirius Black!
David Tennant as Lupin!

I feel like that was mostly a money issue and they wanted to get more use of those suits.

I can buy that, but why do a bunch of silly hijinx with generic? Why not tell us something specific to Clara?

Even more infuriatingly - who were those people at her house in the Christmas special? Her dad and his new wife/girlfriend? We're never given any indication, because Moffat seems to have forgotten that her mom is dead.

That's what the official BBC promotional materials call him. Which I think is for the best. It would be ridiculous to skip ahead at this point.
