1812, though I do know that there are differences in opinion as to the outcome of that war XP

Erm, tried that before, didn't work out too well now did it? ;D

I'm still not convinced that this is an alternate Earth, the supposed evidence they are basing that on is waaay too flimsy for it not to be a potential plot device. Yes, I know it is television, but they wouldn't really be so lazy as to base the entire premise of the show's setting on not receiving a signal from a

Can I promote this again? Please? No? Well then, consider yourself hearted!

Did someone say a crack in time?

See, it always annoyed me that they introduced that aspect of Peter and then never truly followed through on it. Now it seems more like they are finally bringing us back to the Peter we were originally introduced to.

Yeah, it seems like a lot of tv these days has been paced more for dvd viewing than it has for tv viewing. I'm kind of ok with that (I don't watch a lot shows when they're actually on tv), but I can see why that would be really frustrating.

You mean the space-vaginas? :p The way they did the Navagators in that film was... weird

Holy friggin' zergling rush. Just makes me that much more excited for HOTS

Funnily enough its sitting on my bedside table, where it has been since I finished it a couple months ago. Haven't broken my nose with it yet though :p

Even better, a Whendon movie!!

While that was simultaneously the most amazing and confusing thing ever, I could also watch a whole movie of just Super-Whedon and Buffy: Saving the world, one confusing stake at a time.

Wow, those Eureka pics are awesomely messed up. Call me psyched for that!

Eh, it does pick up around the middle, and quite a bit towards the end, but I just couldn't bring myself to like the book. Mostly because it felt like an attack on my childhood, but also because I hated every single character, especially Mr. Whiny Protagonist.

I got a bunch of really good suggeestions from this thread on Goodreads when I decided to start in to the series.

I'll be honest, the whole thing kind of reminded me of last years Outcasts, except back in time instead of through space. I actually liked Outcasts - though a lot of that has to do with the fact that I absolutely love Liam (Onion Knight!) Cunningham - so this might be a good thing.
