@Hypnosifl: Academic titles and text books are expensive enough as it is. The cost of print on demand added to the expense of these books would be downright scary.

The list needs some web-comic love. There are some absolutely amazing web-comics out there covering a variety of topics and can have massive archives that take weeks to go through. My personal favourite: Schlock Mercenary, a sci-fi comic which has been updated once a day, every day, for over ten years without breaks

@Jenn2D2: Not to mention the insanity of trying to go through the One Piece manga, which far outstripes Bleach and Naruto in length.

@Arken: Wait, don't go! I have the trope already from a list I made up! Don't descend into the madness!

How does the academy get off only nominating three animated films this year? Not that it really matters how they would flesh out the remaining two spaces (to match the rest of the categories) since TS3 being nominated for best picture (which it won't win) pretty much guarantees that it will get that Oscar.

@Eseph: That was my first thought when I heard the Best Picture noms. Its Up all over again. Not that TS3 doesn't deserve it, but HtTYD was pretty awesome.

@Excalibur: I like to give the Observers a little credit for at least knowing which time period they're in, but yes, I suppose that can go into consideration along with everything else.

@PlaidNinja: It certainly doesn't help the September's comment was in the present tense, ie. in reference to someone being a father now. So unless Fauxlivia went through some kind of crazy Twilight-esque accelerated pregnancy, Peter can't possibly be a father. Unless the show writers are going to go all Billie Jean on

@ThisGuy: Not at issue here. What Lee is suggesting is that we will never be able to come up with a perfect mathematical model to simulate or replicate the job of neurons in our brains due to the extremely complex nature of biological systems. All quantum computers really do is improve the efficiency of computing -

@Tadashii: No sure what you mean by "english with no accent" especially since there is no unified American accent which is what you seem to be alluding to. But if you didn't like the show and your time is too good for it, don't watch it. Or read posts on it. Or leave unhelpful comment about it.

@janai: @Evil Tortie's Mom: R.O.A.C.H.: lol

@janai: Hey, if they want to convert its fine by me. Though, if spelling things with a U is pretentious you guys think a lot more of us that I realized ;)

@jay13x: lol, who knows?

As a Canadian - where the funny looks appear if you call pop "soda" - I can say for sure that regional dialects are alive and well online. For example, one of the fastest ways for me to spot non-Americans online is to look at the spelling of words like "favourite" and "colour": the u is alive and well ;D

@Roklimber: Good enough recommendation for me :)

@Turbo_Sexophonic: Agreed. The zombies were pretty cool - when you got to see them. Other than that, it was pretty meh. I realize that it can be hard to get some momentum when you only have six episodes to work with, but it probably would have been a little easier without so many extraneous characters and false

@Roklimber: Something to do with cultural imperialism - if they can do it right, we can do it better! It kind of drives me nuts how many shows this happens to. Not to suggest that all the remakes are terrible - in fact some are even better than the source material - but if they don't work out then the brilliance of

@alixana: They are planning on making more Sherlock episodes, though the when of it will depend on what the beeb's budget looks like and when Martin Freeman will get some time away from The Hobbit.
