“you where (sic) going to be an elitist” is calling a name (elitist). The OP mentioned that they were going to respond snarkily but thought better of it, and then asked a question. You chose to respond to them snarkily, without offering an answer to the question. Your comment was unnecessary. Have a nice day!

As far as I know, no, you can’t buy items with the keyboard. You can pull up specific items using the search function, but not buy. I’m pretty certain of that, though I could be wrong.

What’s really obvious to you (moving to the edge of the shop zone) may not be to other people, so I personally appreciate the lack of

Probably not necessary to call names, especially since they never used the term in their own post.

This is fantastic. I’m super-psyched that Nintendo is letting you put traditionally female-oriented outfits on Link; not just in potential support of the different communities out there, but also because I can see it being fantastic for any younger players who might just want their Hero of Time to look a bit more...

Technically, if you would like to get all “proper English”, the proper usage would be “anymore”, as opposed to “any more”. Generally speaking, “any more” is used when referring to a potential quantity of items (i.e. I don’t need any more groceries). “Anymore” is used as a reference to something not being done any

Your share is awesome, thank you for sharing it!

Those legs, though! Chun-Li has got some competition.

I feel you. I was fortunate enough to get a ranking in League that was not only acceptable to me, but better than what I had truly been expecting to receive. I can only imagine the distaste I would have felt if I expected to be placed in Silver/Gold and found myself at the bottom of Bronze tier.

Generally, that would be a plausible thought. Nintendo isn’t generally one to go out of their way to produce excessive amounts of product, though...

Mmmm. Understandable, I guess. There’s a fine line to walk between enabling scalpers and informing people, and I can see how it’d be tough to balance that. Thanks for the thought, I hadn’t considered that!

How is there not more of a highlight on that Hyrule Gold New 3DS XL, especially with the craze over the Majora’s Mask one?

This message would be a lot more impactful if there weren’t advertisements on Kotaku all day encouraging people to pre-order games.

As a former GameStop employee, I wish more customers could be like you.

I could write pages and pages of material about my worst experiences in game stores, but I’ll stick with one for now. Background info: I worked at GameStop for 9 years, and I was a store manager for 7 of them. I was a damn good store manager, too.

I haven’t had any issues with it. What part of it are you referring to with “move to the next step”?

I don’t think that it’s a bad thing to have that choice; I’d imagine, though, that the companies make more money off of stamina-restoring items, or in-game currency, or anything like that as opposed to the cost of a “premium” version. As a company, I imagine they’d want to focus on what will make them the most money

I don’t know if I’d say it’s “horrible” - it’s just the route that a lot of mobile games are forced to go these days, in order to maintain a decent business model. It doesn’t really upset me that much, because the choice is entirely in the players’ hands. You don’t ever have to pay money. If you choose to, that’s on

If the tutorial doesn’t involve Biggs and Wedge, I will be sorely disappointed.

Personally, I’d rather the game be free and have the stamina system. I know it’s inconvenient for a lot of people, but it works for me. Not only does it limit my time with the game (so I don’t burn out), I prefer not paying for it up-front - particularly if I’m not sure how much I’ll be playing it.

I dream of hitting a shot like this one day.
