NO! The escalator that appears to be still running is operating off of a 220V or 480V power source....why it's still running is a mystery.....lucky that no one was electrocuted in that station......

That escalator runs off of 220V or 480V AC power.....could get a little ugly when the flood hits the electrical system in that unit.....probably a $5-10K repair bill on it too.......SCARY!
