The whole point of protest is that it’s not timely. Peaceful protest still needs to be disruptive, otherwise it’ll be ignored.

Serious question: what the fuck counts as a respectful protest? Kneeling quietly during the national anthem could not be more peaceful and inoffensive. 

the 1st amendment only protects you from the government, not your employer. Not sure why so few people can understand that.
