A decade or so ago a friend of mine who always liked to drive his Jeep with neither top nor doors once pulled to a stop at a red light and was a bit too close to a cattle carrier. Apparently when a cow pisses it just kind of comes out all at once in a tremendous flow, and he got a dose he’ll never forget.

Perhaps he runs a local blog outing them for being despicable pigs? It definitely seemed personal just watching this video. But then, it feels anytime I watch these police-issued beatdowns it seems like I’m watching people who hate one person so much they want him to suffer.

I had a conversation with one about a decade ago and I fostered the idea that Heinlein put forth about serving to be a citizen. Needless to say that didn’t go over well with the fat bastard hick I was talking to that day, and I can’t imagine it would be any different with ANY of those mouthbreathers.

I liked that show a lot when it first came out but I had a hard time catching it on television back then and DVRs weren’t a thing yet. I had a VCR but who had time to program that thing?

The app has the option to include a tip. It isn’t expected. It’s you showing your appreciation for the service if you felt it worthy. They appreciate a five-star rating as much as the tip, though. If you can’t tip, the least you can do is give a great review. Have you ever used either of the giant ride-sharing…

There’s your issue. Not everyone lives within easy thumb-distance of a cab. You don’t have to tip but it’s seen as a courtesy, especially if you’re making special requests. I don’t know why you don’t just drive yourself at that point.

Do you not tip cab drivers where you’re from? It’s also far less complicated because you just click a button on an app and your ride comes to you. 

In the future I hope I’ll get to watch the documentary of when karma finally caught up to you. Schadenfreude!

The problem is the people who watched it and grew up wanting to be Dennehy’s sheriff instead of John Rambo. I can’t imagine anyone rooting for the side against Rambo, but you nailed it. Is there anything more un-American than rooting against fucking Rambo?

I sometimes use “ya think” as a way of being disconnected from a conversation while trying not to be a complete asshole and just say nothing.

He’s got the mentality that he owns his town. A lot of these sheriffs think they’re above the law because they are LEO.
