I see your perspective, its still “savings” in that the cost curve for future overhead is now lower than predicted. i.e. cars don’t HAVE to get as expensive as was previously though...they still will but now it will be a margin instead of a flatline of prices.

Me reading this:

It is true that ABS won’t stop shorter than non ABS on dry pavement, assuming a well trained driver. But that well trained driver won’t lock up the wheels. A skidding tire does not have as much traction as a rolling one. You will stop shorter with ABS than locked tires on any surface.

And here I got all excited in seeing a BMW using its turn-signal the other day.

I think you can order it that way as a trim level.

I blame that on dash lights- some cars the dash lights illuminate with the DRL -others not I use the dash lights to tell me if the outside lights are on-
