Nah. I knew someone who ‘lost it’ at about the same age. Just couldn’t grasp reality any longer. It happened over the course of a few weeks, and was very scary.

The amateur CTE diagnosis fits a narrative and aligns the family with a growing movement that might end up taking care of them, but it seems more likely this is something else. At the very least, it’s impossible to be so sure it’s CTE considering we haven’t seen that manifest itself…
