They have said that before and I am still at $7, maybe this time they will actually follow through with the increase.

The price increase is also only for new customers, I have an old account when streaming first launched and still have a $7 streaming plan and no increase yet. So really it is not an increase at all but a new entry point for non-customers.
I just spoke with a Verizon rep on chat, so take answers with a grain of salt, I am not eligible for an upgrade yet but when I am I can do a subsidized phone. Though they were trying to convince me today I can get the new phone and do the monthly payment plan at no additional cost (fees/activation/etc).
We do, I can give it a try but our internet/cable provider is a local company (Entouch). AT&T was unable to provide a connection for more than 20 minutes, Comcast & Charter are not available on my side of the street (literally).

I picked up a mohu antenna last year and liked it, but we moved recently and the only good spot I can get reception now is placing the antenna upstairs and we watch TV downstairs.

They have a Roku Beta channel currently, it is a little better than the older interface but still a ways to go. I was reading they are stuck with the horizontal scrolling because of Roku and how they must develop the channel for their OS.
Our daughter was just born last week, and we live in Texas and curious what are the options to save for our daughters college education.
I have 2 main machines at home on Windows 7, one is a plex media server and the other is just a gaming, media playing, etc machine. Glad MS is offering the free upgrade to Windows 10 and I will be jumping on board but in 2-3 months.
The mileage thing is a huge factor many people forget. My wife and I were looking for a car to add to our fleet once our 1st baby arrives (2 other cars are sports cars), and I kept looking into leasing. New car, warranty, etc. but factor in the miles and how much this will get used it was not worth it.
What is the best way to approach setting a contract & then payment?
I had the same question but digging through their FAQ I found the answer.
Long term is probably paper. Also not just because digital media may fail, but what if in 20 years she/he needs access to the files and USB drives are all but gone (Example floppy disks), and being able to easily read the files is now a huge pain.
My wife is this way 90% of the time, but she wants to know if something happens she can get into the accounts. Seeing the money and knowing what we spend it on she does not care, I handle the budget and make the decisions. Anything over a couple hundred bucks we talk about, as it keeps me in check if I just want to go…
That is a great idea, we do not have a safety deposit box currently but is something on my todo list this summer as we just purchased a house and have a number of cars & do not need those documents everyday. Including a paper & digital copy of all of these documents in the box would be perfect!
The document one I keep planning to create for my wife in the event of my death, but I am hesitant on where to store the document after I complete it.
Is there an updated comprehensive chart of free & paid cloud storage options? I use dropbox & onedrive, free, but curious about more options either to add another account (free) or even to migrate all to a single service with a good mobile UI and easy access from my desktops & laptops.
Owning a couple Nissan’s that live on the fringe (2 Z’s), you are 100% right. They need a car that takes all these cool items they show off in racing and bring it down to the real world.
Had the car I wanted (with 13,000 miles!!!) and was financing through my bank so dealing with them for a bit was fine since I never have to go back again. You would just think that since I am doing my own financing they would want to get me out the door ASAP and onto the next customer, or make my experience good so I…
Actually they pulled all the records, the little there was with so low miles the car had basic maintenance and a couple warranty repairs. Still a little worried with buying an Audi out of warranty but the low miles I hope helps (only keeping it as a daily driver for a couple years).
Yeah, when we were leaving they asked us to pass along their business as they get mostly referrals. My wife looked at him and just goes, thank you and turns around.
