Amazon Echo, has a todo & shopping list built into it which goes to a smartphone app (for the echo). My wife uses is everyday when she is cooking, hands covered and uses the last of something and just ask Alexia (Echo) to add X item to our shopping list.

In time you will be able to, for now Apple has the “exclusive” on the HBO NOW app for 3 months. This is I believe just viewing the HBO channel (no DVR, not sure on viewing back catalog items), so in a few months it will probably show up for everything from Android, Roku, Xbox, Playstation, etc.
