My first thought was -

I have to admit I'm disappointed to hear that Vader will be more than a menacing offscreen presence, spoken of rarely and in hushed tones. I was really hoping for a story that broke clean from Keeping Up With The Skywalkers.

Power converters. They just make those so they'll break.

So we all agree Tommen is a terrible terrible player in this game. He's like me in that he can't see more than one move ahead (if you want an easy win, come play chess with me some time).

Here's what I've been chewing on and trying to reconcile:

As a SW Ontario anglo married to northern Quebec franco, I find Quebec-specific cursing endlessly entertaining.

I was thinking about this the other day.

Wild thought:

I've only read the first book, but I've watched every episode at least twice.

Love the concept but, OK mixer, turn down the percussion. That musician, in a steel mill is waaaaay over mixed

My knowledge of comic publishing, universes and continuity is shallow at best, but I've always treated The Wolverine as a one-off, that borrows some continuity from the main line, but is pretty much free to be it's own thing with little to no impact on the greater story. What would you call that in the comics world?

I was actually pretty careful not to attribute the pyromania to warging. That seems like a bit of a cop out at this point.

Damn you! I just gave up on that joke in a GoT post so I could use it here!

It's so dense. Every flashback…

Just saw the conversation down thread. Thanks much.

Did anyone else find it kind of awkward, fourth-wall breaking when Walder kept calling it "The Red Wedding"? Does that event have that name in-universe?

Nah, Doom had mods too - my introduction to the concept. I remember playing the Army Of Darkness one and if course the Star Wars one. I can still pick out the lines it used:
"Must have hit it pretty close to the mark" when you killed a demon/stormtrooper
"Unlock 5,7 and 9. Release charges" was the sound stormtrooper a

I loved Doom 1993. It was my first multiplayer multi computer experience when some friends and I in university set up a LAN party (this was BIG DEAL in 1994/1995, before broadband everywhere. Yes we were/are huge nerds.). I'm afraid from the description above that my middle age reflexes are too slow to enjoy this

This was well done
