I think the blurs were part of the joke.

It’s weird and funny at first, but the joke wears its welcome out way too quickly, and it eventually becomes a gross, unfunny button that Man Seeking Woman can push at will.

Is Album of the Year still considered canon? I, for one, only recognize The Real Thing.

Supernatural and Face Off too.

man, Milton. amirite? That little guy can toast!

I had to rewind that scene several times. It's crazy how crazy Dennis looked.

This episode was comic genius. Day's apparent single shot trick as he wrangles everyone with his manic energy is totally rewatchable. A.

I like that he told Total Recall remake to pound sand. Pretty cool for him that 25 years later he was mistaken for being the son of the guy in Top Gun.

sounds more like Ironside just has some family issues he's working out.

Maybe, some people get pretty binary out there with their politics. It was kind of an odd aside. Verhoeven's big 3 films were all like "oh, I am gonna totally skewer those right wing nutjobs by making entertaining films." I mean, everyone (ok, maybe 55%) who watched Starship was Troopers aware that the director and

The Jack of Clubs and Jack of Heart were great. I guess the Queen of hearts was striking but Jh was fricking unique.

so Suits is now another popular show hte Avclub no longer talks about.

maybe the 80's in 83 were part of the whole excesses thing…in LA. But the rest of the country was kinda still living in the 70s. I vaguely remember this show as a kid and it's amusing to read that it was such a trainwreck. Oh well, Knight Rider was only a few years away.

show was great, binge watched it on netflix years ago.

this also has the line "sir, I insist we cheat" or something to that effect

look marge, it's fun to smash stuff.

1. Is this shit for real? What kind of pansy ass weaklings are suggesting … in the real world … that Hibbert go?

yeah, that fight was pretty cool. Did they lift it from a movie or what?

this episode was better than Seinfeld's Chinese Restaurant episode, so put that on AVclub's top 25. This episode was hilarious. Then again, I don't watch that much TV, so maybe modern family or whatever beats this.

Homer: Are you saying you're never going to eat any animal again? What about bacon?
Lisa: No.
Homer: Ham?
Lisa: No.
Homer: Pork chops?
Lisa: Dad, those all come from the same animal.
Homer: Heh heh heh. Ooh, yeah, right, Lisa. A wonderful, magical animal.
