Not me, but a co-worker.  Her now husband twice drained the transmission fluid instead of the oil on two different cars.  One was a Kia Soul and the other was a Tacoma.  I’m not sure how it happened because I’ve always questioned if the oil overflowed because it was never drained.  She noticed something off with the

On my 2018 Accord, when it gets down to three bars.  That’s about 90 miles to empty.  On my wife’s 2020 Forester, when she gets down to about 70-90 miles left in the tank.

2003 Mini Cooper.  It was constantly in the shop getting computer updates to fix things and it was never fixed.  Many squeaks and rattles.  It eventually was declared a lemon.

I really wish I could like the RE series.  I like the story and the look of them, but HATE the weapons management system.  In the last game, I watched a youtube walkthrough at various times so I could know what weapons to bring at the appropriate time.  So annoying.

Perhaps I’ll just get an Accord Hybrid. Small 4 banger and the electric part. No turbos as far as I know.  Granted batteries may need to be changed one day....

I guess Houston, TX is pretty easy compared to some of these screenshots and explanations how other places do their patterns. There is this new trend of new neighborhoods putting baby roundabouts instead of four way stops. Other than that, I guess we have it easy. I have heard of some people not getting why we have a

Meanwhile my 2018 Accord is stuck with Honda Sensing Normal and it’s just ok. ACC is good, but lane departure is bad. For example, I’ll be going in a normally marked lane on the freeway and the steering wheel vibrates and tells me lane departure. I’ll signal, start to change lanes....lane departure. I’ll exit the

Our speed limits in Houston are 60 on the freeways and I think it should be at least 65. 70 is ideal since that’s what everyone does, mostly. Once you leave city limits, it goes to 65. In between towns, it’s usually 70-75 during the day and 60-65 at night. Heading out towards West Texas, it’s 80.

Keep in mind that if you’re on a contract here, which I am, these price spikes don’t apply. Griddy is known for this crap. They can save you a lot of money throughout the year, but when shit hits the fan, you’re fucked. They have your card on file and charge you when necessary, I think. Back in 2019 when we had a

Crazy. I’ve never had a terrible experience like this at a dealership. I’ve had a Mistubishi eclipse, a couple of F-150s, a Mini, a Silverado, Mazda6 and my current Accord. West Houston Subaru has treated my wife very nicely twice. To be fair, I’ve never said no thanks can I have my keys back. I’ve just made a deal

400 miles, traveling at 75-85 mph in the hot Texas sun with A/C on full blast and can recharge 100% in 10 minutes. Also, the ability to charge in remote towns that sometimes people take to get to destinations. This is what I would feel comfortable with.

What about them?  HBO Max is on both of them.

You’d still be stuck with the same crappy infotainment system though.

No kidding.  My wife has a 2020 Forester Touring and all of the hardware for wireless CarPlay is there.  A software update would be all that it takes.

How can you downgrade to 13 when Apple doesn’t sign it anymore?

It’s interesting that the hardware is already there for it to work, minus wireless charging, and you have to pay to update to it. I feel that should be free. It’s not like when Mazda had to add hardware to even get CarPlay in their cars. Now to add wireless charging, yeah that requires new hardware and shouldn’t be

Neutral - Define worked on.  If simple maintenance like air filters or changing oil is considered worked on, that’d be my current car, a 2018 Accord.  Brakes?  2016 Mazda6.  Alternator, fuel relays, or other similar things?  2004 F-150.  Rebuilding a transmission or something major....never.

My original PS4 controller still works fine.  The one with the lightbar works, but one of the directional sticks either doesn’t work well.  It drifts or doesn’t respond sometimes.  Also, I have to put the controller on a surface carefully or else it will hit the triggers and mess up whatever movie I am watching on Blu

This car is interesting to me.  Is it, speedwise, a GTI killer?

Never even crossed my mind for some reason.  Thanks.
