I don’t turn off the game unless it’s like 11-0 in the 8th (although last year we came back against Minnesota I believe with a 10 run 6th or 7th), but McCullers didn’t seem to trust his non-curve for strikes.  Plus sometimes he hangs the curve.  

Bad call or not, we just haven’t played well. We gave up 8 runs last night, a grand slam the night before, several hit batters over the course of the series, based loaded walks that score runs....that’s why we’re down 3-1. Our issue is that we don’t have good route runners. We have receivers that rely on speed and there isn’t enough space to generate speed once inside 10 yards (although red zone is 20). We don’t have an OL to create space and no strong run-blocking tight ends. Sucks.
