Wow the UI is a bit. . . bland. By the way a question. To create a nice UI on android do you need to employ openGL or some other graphics API? Or are there other ways I am forgetting about?

Quick warning, android is very very very slow on the emulator. It in no way represents what it feels like to use the device itself.

What is it copying/ripping off ?

@small-fox: I do not understand what about the Legend reminds you so much of the iphone. The one similarity I find between the two devices is that they both have Touch screens. . .

@small-fox: HTC Legend. I consider that rather nice. HD2 it seems is also pretty good. I also like the design of the nexus one.
