Android + Maemo + Meego + Moblin Fusion anyone?

@iPhone4Modo: Well to me the most promising part is that lovely processor. Though I suppose that doesn't matter if everything is already really zippy.

@Future Retro: They are kind of different architectures from my understanding. Well Rather, the Snapdragon uses a redesigned Cortex-A8 like processor called the Scorpion, While the OMAP just uses the Cortex-A8(or a tweaked Cortex?).

A better visualization of the situation would be having (assuming 25k barrels) would be having 3.456 barrels dropping from the sky per second. (adapt for the actual amount of spillage)

@TheNimboo: Hmm your device is the nexus one running 2.2 of whoever did this bench. The stock evo is a bit below the nexus at less than 2.2.

Actually I kind of wish they were going to sell it at the original 720mhz so I could have the fun of overclocking it to 1ghz myself :(. But this works too.

@TheNimboo: This is my answer. The shadow is the Droid X. Imagine when it actually gets Froyo. Hopefully it gets as much of a boost as the nexus ( more than 2x )

I have yet to find an explanation about how the 3d screen actually works.

the OMAP processor even at 720mhz would have been enough to take on the snapdragon. . . Though it being at 1ghz explains the crazy benchmarks I saw.

@TheSonOfKrypton: I don't particularly hate apple, I am just indifferent towards them. I am solely trying to express the fact that there may be better alternatives (for whatever reason they are better, maybe better performing, easier to implement, whatever).
