:) Maybe I underplayed that a bit. In terms of cartoons created for a young audience, it's a stellar piece of art.

The only thing I watched as a "kid" (and I was in middle school) that's still semi watchable is the Batman Animated Series.
Somewhere there's a "hero" enacting "justice" in a Burger King with one of these babies.
I watched TNMT when I was 6-8. I looked at it in my 20s and saw that it was just junky. That's reality. Most shows you like as a kid just aren't that great. Some hold up, but most won't.
I'll take it one step farther.
Why would anyone want to slug it out against another highly anticipated release with the same target audience?
Because when I'm cooking my first concern is "Do I feel creatively satisfied by this utensil"?
I'm going with "China doesn't recognize copy write laws"
I'm just glad to hear that someone else loved Speed Racer.
I don't want to live in a world where everything is "epic" and disagreeing with someone else and presenting your idea is a "slam".
Let me see if I understand.
I said I liked it.
It's totally fine if you feel that way, really.
Ok, party on.
Thanks, Aurora, that's really helpful.
1. Build a brand following that transcends individual properties
The last 20 minutes of 2001 A Space Odyssey is just a short plane ride away.
And yet the smell of Cinnabon sabotages it all.
Thanks :)
I'm not saying I believe hype, I'm saying that when you're being hit from every direction with "It's amazing", can you really honestly say that none of that lodges in your brain?
