    It’s due to video compression. Although those “soldiers” really do look like they are from a 1980’s casting call for a Stallone/schwarzenegger film.

    Besides a couple of slung cables, those tunnels do not have any visible building service installations; piping - electrical, plumbing, heating, Air-con, water / water waste, ventilation etc.

    I posted earlier re my memories of a Vulcan flying low over us at RAF Abingdon. Oxfordshire, England. I wish I had been at this air show.

    As a young child I remember seeing a Vulcan at RAF Abingdon air show back in 1969’sh. I remember it flew over low, very low as we were walking between hangers; it went dark like an eclipse of the sun as a giant shadow passing over us, however, I don’t remember the noise.
