Really, with the wealth of other features present, that 3D slider is what makes this a good purchase. I'm sure NO 3D wouldn't hurt gameplay all too much, unless all of them are trying to do the "WOAAAAAAAH ITS IN YOUR FACE WAOAAAAAAH" thing that cheesy 3d movies do.
I for one am very happy with Notch's progress. Apparently his team is official assembled, he's learning more and more every tweet I see, he's compiling a huge update for the 30th and he's COMMUNICATING about it.
@AngryChiefsFan: I don't know... 3 months away isn't that far. I guess if you're trying to stay in the know/hype, then it's bothersome, but who the heck cares when its $8 a freaking month. Might start looking into this.

I feel like too many people are modding the crap out of NES stuff... I mean... shouldn't we be keeping the original stuff? Even if it was broken, I'd be so afraid to gut any of my old consoles.
@sweenish: Yeah, once you have TF2 for a few years and tons of crap (Maps, custom server UI/pics/sounds, etc) builds up, its really necessary (or you could just DELETE EVERYTHING).
