Hispanic and Asian actors don't have the Will Smiths and Jadas to make the protest in the first place. Furthermore, the righteous white in America will champion black causes above genuine diversity due to historic events unique to the US. That's the problem.

That is the question we should be asking ahead of do black actors get enough awards.

It goes beyond 'black' people and 'white' people as in the US. A light skinned Chinese/Indian/Saudi actor/model will always be given a break ahead of a dark skinned compatriot. I don't think Hollywood can change that.

Dark skinned people are looked down upon as compared to white skinned people throughout Asia without much exception. That's just how it is.

That's the real story right there. This whole thing is asking the right questions and coming up with stupid answers.
