There are major issues with Destiny's loot system ATM. This method is the only way to even have a remote chance at getting decent gear save Vault of Glass where the best gear is locked.

Honestly Bob, Type-0's co-op mode was asstastic. Nevermind the bad lag (locally!), the main problem was that once you hop into a friend's mission, you can only play for a few minutes at a time before you're randomly kicked out in favor of an AI assist.

Co-op with the psp version was very limited. You only had a limited time(just minutes) to join another players mission and you get kicked out automatically after.
