Curious why Ram didn’t just have (or could get) Cummins to build a half scale 6.7. The HD trucks already get best in class fuel economy with that setup and I know a 3.0 Cummins would have more torque and better longevity than the Ecodiesel. (Not including the emissions crap because both are awful). All of my rental

Double Woof. Makes my 16 Silverado look like a beauty queen (I don’t think my truck is that attractive just needed something more reliable than a Ram).

I shop amazon for t shirts and crew neck sweatshirts that cost 4-5 dollars each (sometimes less on sale). I can toss them directly into the trash if they become dirty or destroyed beyond a regular wash. Old jeans hold up really well to working, I usually wear holes into the knees before I toss those. Natural

My Silverado has the split where you can run back heat only which is great for sore muscles/long trips. Heated cloth works surprisingly well. Great option because it takes so GD long for the truck to heat and start blowing warm air. Can’t afford a truck with cooled seats to prevent swamp ass though.

My 96 2WD had tapered roller bearings. To my knowledge they were original at 430K miles. I hate all of the throw away parts they hang on cars today. That said, I have seen so many people have wheels come off of trailers with tapered bearings I wouldn’t trust anyone outside of my dad or myself to set up tapered

I drive around 20K a year and if I had less than the difference between the cost of 30 mpg and 15 mpg in my bank account I would have some serious issues.

I care a lot about fuel economy. I drive one of the most economical trucks available that still checks all of my lifestyle boxes. It currently averages 4-6 better mpg than my last truck. I have to have a truck for what I do with my free time. I would be trading right now if someone offered an affordable 1/2 ton truck

I would configure mine with a bed/diesel/manual but the whole manual and diesel thing won’t happen sadly. I know the 8 speed rocks but manual diesel Jeep.

My 67 Plymouth has AC and in those days you picked AC= on your face or Heat = on your feet. The heater box in my car has a driver and passenger lower AC vent that is adjustable partially for aim and partially for flow. Probably pretty ground breaking back then. The AC currently isn’t hooked up so I can’t comment on

Ha, Brian is an awesome dude. My first car was actually his first car. Red/silver 1989 Daytona. He told me lots of Rose stories he had with it.

Holy shit. Brian is one of our good old Mopar buddies from back home. Back when he still did Mopar shows with us all he was always driving some sort of interesting/secretive test mule. He’s big time now.

Stef, listen to me. Get on Amazon and order all of the dark grey/charcoal/black T shirts and crew neck sweatshirts you can get for 5 bucks a pop. If they get totally destroyed who cares. If they only make it a year or 6 months who cares. I started doing this when I got tired of ruining all of my well worn but loved

Y-tho? A failed attempt at a hot hatch. Was ugly and also not hot.

My girlfriend’s Civic is great for that too but the seats are rock hard after an hour drive so we don’t take it on road trips. Upgraded trim options possibly more comfortable? They produce the seats in my home town in nowhere Indiana. Side note: the 1.5 CVT combo is no slouch for a small engine in a decent sized

Monday meh car road trip?

Do not own a bike but I will if it gets to that point. Also, probably will be longer on public water ways before autonomous boating becomes commonplace. I could still escape that way.

Those OWL Uniroyal tires were always so darn cool looking.

I’ve never understood the whole swerving across lanes or slamming your brakes to make an exit or turn. You turn your own inconvenience into numerous other driver’s inconvenience. I always go to then next exit or the next street/parking lot I can find. If it’s my fuck up it shouldn’t effect anyone else.

Owned a CSX-T for a long time. Shelby sway bars/struts/brakes and wider wheels made these things excellent handlers. Sold it to a Shelby collector and while it was in his barn everything burnt to a crisp. The bodies of all the cars were so hot they started to melt. :(
