Puberty onset have been dropping steady for the last hundred years, there was no spike during the green revolution, nor has there been one in the last 30 years. There has been a steady lowering. So the cause for this is more likely to be a more nutritional diet, less disease, more radiation, or any of the things that

No, cause I don't give a shit about the planet, I care about humans. I made that statement because if one argues from that standpoint, that that is the logical outcome. I would kill every monkey in the world if it could cure Aids, and I would club every seal if it would bring peace between nations.

I do, my main beef is with people who argue that eating organic is more moral (due to less damage to the earth and other roundabout terms) when it is in fact much less so.

True, and I would argue for large amount of research to be focused on artificial meat, clearly a much more moral way to get food. However, pesticides are made to not harm humans, and they are tested for such. Organic food is not. Organic food scores way higher on the Ames test, and the natural poisons that the plants

The planet will be fine. It would be better off if we did kill ourselves, no amount of organic food will make the planet better. The way to make humans better is by large focus on genetically modified food. Put more science into food, not less. Natural in food is for me the same as Natural in medicine.

I avoid it at all cost. Organic food is morally abhorrent. Eating food that has a higher energy requirement because you believe that it is better for you, while 1/3 of the world starves, and 2/3rds of the world would starve if everyone did as you do, is wrong. No matter what form of normative ethics you follow, eating

Thanks for this, I was somewhat shocked when I first read about it on this page, but after reading the link you gave, everyone seems way more human. As in, everyone was being a d-bag to everyone, they all wanted attention, they all wanted to rip on other people, none of them share a consistent view of what feminism

This is also what makes Organic foods have more carcinogens (aka, the stuff that gives you cancer). Organic foods tend to set of the Ames test like wildfire due to it's natural pesticide production.

So, lets go down the line: Recycling, as it is now, does not work. It consumes more power then getting fresh materials would do. Power comes, in most cases, from power plants that output Carbon, so recycling will cause more carbon gasses then not recycling. Solar Panels, as the ones you put on your house today, will
