You bastard!  You freaking made me laugh out loud in the office!  Good one, buddy.

“It’s another tiny symptom and a nearly indiscernible shout from a contemptuous, roaring and riotous segment of a misanthropic society that vilifies those who stand for what’s right and glorifies the very people who would usher in the destruction of the social fabric.”

This... is a fucking terrifying article.

I’m not a big car guy. After seeing this misshapen monstrosity, I am no definitely a car guy.

This is awesome input.  I was just thinking about how to do exactly this-improving my writing by including more sensory details-and this is very helpful, practical advice.

Absolutely agree. A big part of work is the company culture, and most companies just don’t care about their employees. It’s hard to want to go above and beyond if your employer is willing to throw you off the boat as soon as there is a rough tide.

Thanks for the correction. You are right; I misread it to say she earned more which is not the case. Regardless, paying about 50/50 is not bad.

Wrong.  He is trying to make decision about her money and she is ultimately consenting to make those bad decisions.

But as it became obvious that my reasoning fell on deaf ears, my rebuttals became scarce, and I ended up footing the bill more than half the time.

It’s Milwaukee.  He’s gone.
